Coral Springs High School to Unveil New Culinary Lab in 2023
Coral Springs, Florida – In January 2023, Coral Springs High School students will be able to access the new culinary lab.
Two classrooms in the new culinary lab have cutting-edge cooking stations, new tools, and more preparation stations.
“The total approved budget allocation through the SMART program for STEM improvements at Coral Springs High School is $1,143,000,” according to Broward County Public Schools Office of Communications Cathleen Brennan.
CSHS decided to use these monies for its new culinary lab, expanding student options, Principal Suarez said.
“Giving our students top-of-the-line appliances will improve student performance and allow us to compete with other high school culinary programs,” she said.
Through a real-world kitchen and ongoing classroom activities, students will learn more as their culinary background and expertise improve.
