City to Host Free Hoppin’ into Springs Egg Hunt
Coral Springs, FL – On Saturday, March 27, 2021 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., the city will host its free Hoppin’ into Springs Egg Hunt at the Sportsplex Park (2800 Sportsplex Dr) for children ages 3-8 years old. This year’s event has been reimagined to ensure attendees are able to follow CDC COVID-19 safety guidelines.
Of the reimagined event, Robert Hunter Director of Parks and Recreation said, “As we continue to mitigate COVID-19 in our community, we recognize how important our city events are to our residents. Hosting this year’s Hoppin’ into Springs Egg Hunt was a top priority for our department and we are proud to host a safe, family-friendly event.”
With individualized egg hunt areas on the baseball field, the event registration will allow attendees to register as a household and select their preferred time; 10 person max per household. We ask that all attendees arrive 15 minutes before their scheduled time and bring their own baskets and bags to collect the eggs.
Due to COVID-19 and to protect the health and wellbeing of our staff and residents, all attendees must wear facial coverings while inside the egg hunt areas. The Easter Bunny will not be attending this year’s event.
This event is for Coral Springs residents only. Households must register each family member through our rectrac system or by calling 954-345-2200 before the registration deadline on March 22, 2021. No walk-ups will be accepted.
For attendees to hunt for eggs together, they must be registered under the same household.
