Coral Springs athletes compete in BCAA All-Star game

Coral Springs, Florida – Numerous athletes from Coral Springs participated in the BCAA All-Star Game on March 6 and March 13, showing the community’s strong representation.

Chase Thomas and Valentin Abreu were two of the players for the Coral Springs High School boys’ basketball squad.

Following their successful postseason run, Madisun Hill, Rhael Sayers, and Ermani Lewis were selected from the girls’ basketball team. Sayers will also participate in The Gem, an April 3 game at Cardinal Gibbons High School that will include the top 24 all-stars. Devin Barta, the head coach of the Colts, was also chosen to play in the Broward vs. Miami Dade All-Star Game, which also included Matthew Cyrprew-Elsy.

While Andrea Orjuelo represented the girls’ team, Samuel Giraldo was the only member of the boys’ soccer team to be selected for the BCAA All-Star game.

Dylan Burrowes and Tahir Bond, members of the boys’ basketball squad, were in Coral Glades. On March 23, Bond—who also won MVP—will participate in the Broward vs. Dade All-Star Game. David Jimenez played for the Jaguars as well after finishing his final year on the boys’ soccer team.

Mitsuika Amin was a member of the girls’ team at J.P. Taravella, while James Stanley and Junes Athlon were on the boys’ team. The soccer teams selected McKenzie Nezat and Ray Graham.

Isabella Ramos was the only player from Coral Springs Charter to be selected; the girls’ soccer team produced Kayla Kreişler and Sophie Ribeiro.
