West Boca Raton, Florida – According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, they identified the two men who drowned Sunday in Arthur R. Marshall Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge at the end of Loxahatchee Road.
PBSO says, Celso Santizo Cobon, 20, and Elizazar Aguilar Reynoso, 30, were fishing, and for unknown reasons, they went into the water shortly after 1:45 p.m. and sank.
According to officials, both men could not swim.
A third man went into the water to try to save Cobon and Reynoso, but realized he was unable to help and returned to shore to call 911.
Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and PBSO marine deputies recovered the bodies of Cobon and Reynoso later in the day.
