14 Student-Athletes from Coral Glades formally announce their college choices

Coral Springs, Florida – A momentous day occurred in Coral Glades on Tuesday as 14 student-athletes committed to play collegiate sports.
Four athletes were signed by the flag football club, including Samantha Menard and Evi Andreoni, who will attend Williams Wood University in Missouri. At quarterback, Andreoni completed 44 of 53 passes for 520 passing yards. Menard had six receptions for 77 yards, but she also threw six touchdowns. In addition, she had one interception and 14 tackles, eight of which were by the sack.
Cassidy Morales plans to enrol at Kansas’ Heston University. With 210 rushing yards and an additional 135 receiving yards and three touchdowns, she was quite impressive on the ground. Anaya Campbell, who will play for Campbellsville University in Kentucky, finished third on the team with 44 tackles. In flag football, the Jaguars had a great spring campaign, winning six games after defeating J.P. Taravella, Coconut Creek, St. John Paul II Academy, Plantation, Miramar, and Hollywood Hills.
The only football player to sign, Cory Grant, will attend Miami’s Atlantis University. He ignited the attack early in the season and, following the Jaguars’ lone victory, represented them in the BCAA All-Star Game. The baseball team’s Jack Kollwitz signed a scholarship to Mississippi Valley State following an amazing season in which he hit.517 with 25 RBIs.
Dylan Burrowes and Tahir Bond both signed in basketball. Bond, who will attend Calhoun Community College, led the squad in scoring per game with 15.3 and participated in the school’s first-ever regional championship in 2023. Burrowes, who averaged almost a double-double this season with 8.8 points and 11.4 rebounds per game, is headed to Malcolm X College in Chicago.
Ian Lemus committed to play soccer for Denmark Technical College in South Carolina. This season, he scored two goals, and the squad finished 7–5–6. While Yulianna Sanchez will play volleyball at Barry University in Miami, Maddie Palaez will play lacrosse at Suffolk University in Massachusetts. Tavi Cummings will compete in the petitive cheerleading competition at Texas Tech.
